The following questions were taken / adapted from many different sites which I unfortunately did not save the links to (I'm literally copying this from a scribbled piece of paper I made during my commute to the QS MBA fair) so if you ever find the original sources of these questions, please post the links below so that credit may be given where it is due.
Remember that the school you choose will determine the rest of your life: who is in your alumni network, what companies you are able to pipeline directly into upon graduation and what your salary will start at & build from. Do not leave any stone unturned, if you have questions about your personal application, bring them to the fair.
- What is the school's most important admissions criterion?
- Does the school conduct a student satisfaction survey; and if so where are the results published? (if they do not publish them and do not conduct one, RUN. THIS IS A MAJOR RED FLAG).
- What one thing would you change about the school (Nothing is not an option)?
- How often do you / the students interact with the professors outside of the classroom?
- What other schools did you consider and why did you choose this one?
- What role does career services really play in post graduate job placement?
- How would you describe the school's social scene?
- During your time in school, what activities were you involved in outside of classes?
- How easy is it to get into the classes/ electives you want?
- Have you developed relationships with alumni during your time here?
- What resources does the school offer to help students launch ventures?
- Do you know where you will be working next year?
- How quickly did you find a job for after graduation?
